There is always something wonderfully cheering about the sight of bunting.
Is it the association with celebration?
Or the liberating sense of colours fluttering in the breeze?
I don't know. But I've enjoyed making bunting in a huge variety of fabrics for children's rooms - castles and fairies, cupcakes and ice-cream, animals, cars, aeroplanes, space ships and planets, wizards and superheroes.
